Help save sea otters!
Why Your Support Matters
Sea otters are a keystone species that maintain the health of kelp forests and wetlands. By supporting the Aquarium, you are helping to save sea otter pups and strengthen our coastal ecosystems.
In partnership with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Sea Otter Surrogacy Program, orphaned pups are paired with adult female otters to provide maternal care and teach the pup skills needed to survive in the wild. Those pups will then be returned to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and be released to join the wild population living off the coast of central California.
